J’ai du papier journal à volonté et j’ai déjà entedu parler d’une machine permettant de faire des briques (de forme rectangulaire). Ceci avec du papier journal bien entendu. Avez-vous déjà vu celà ? Et pouvez-vous me transmettre éventuellement les coordonnées du revendeur ?

Il existe effectivement des petites presses manuelles pour confectionner des briques de papier. Le principe est simple : un parallélépipède creux en tôle avec deux machoires montées sur levier et actionnées à la main. Je ne connais pas de revendeur, j’en ai déjà vu d’occasion aux puces. Le procédé présenté ici a l’avantage de ne pas nécessiter de presse. De plus, il semblerait que le creux au centre de la bûche en améliore le tirage...à tester !

J’ai trouvé un revendeur pour une telle presse : on en tire une buche de papier bien comprimé qui en theorie brule aussi lentement qu’une vraie buche... A tester donc, car je l’achete demain matin ! (C’est justement pour cela que je me renseigne et que j’ai trouvé vos posts.) Le revendeur est OUTIROR (Camion Itinerant) : 0 825 305 315.

bonjour,

J’utilise un poêle et me sert aussi de "buches" de papier ponctuellement. Mon poêle comporte une vitre ce qui permet de bien voir la combustion. Je m’aperçois que la meilleure combustion est obtenue avec au moins deux buches qui "rayonnent" entre elles. Ce sont les infra rouges qui entretiennent la combustion et non plus un tirage excessif nécessaire si il n’y a qu’une buche. Je met donc généralement une buche de papier seulement accompagnée d’une buche de bois beaucoup plus régulière dans sa combustion.
La combustion du papier est plus difficile et fourni proportionnellement énormément de cendres. Je roule des paquets de journaux et prospectus assez serrés et termine ma buche par un mince fil de fer qui maintient la "buche" en forme. ce qui semble plus rapide que la manipulation du manche à balai que je n’ai néanmoins pas essayé.
A l’occasion je pense tenter de fabriquer des buches "moulées" composées de pate à papier (papier de récup détrempés) et de sciures (généralement gratuite dans les scieries). Faudrait faire différents dosages dans les proportions des deux pour étudier un peu le meilleur compromis.

Bonjour,
J’ai une cheminée que je sers de temps en temps,je m’interesse à ces bûches de papier que je fabrique,j’ai une question pour les faires sécher en hiver,il faut les mettres à quel endroit puisque il faut pas les mettres dans une pièce chauffée ?
Merci pour me donner une réponse !
P.S:J’ai essayé avec du papier sec cercler avec du fil de fer,c’est pas terrible du tout, la combustion ne se fait pas !

Attention de ne pas brûler des prospectus pleins de colorant, ils génèrent des fumées particulièrement toxiques dans l’atmosphère, et seuls les incinérateurs sont équipés de filtres qui nettoie les fumées.
On peut faire du mal en voulant faire bien...

Pour le séchage des bûches ailleurs que dans une pièce chauffée : préparer ses bûches en été pour l’hiver en les faisant sécher au soleil.

Bonjour !
Le rejet de fumées toxiques est effectivement un problème important. C’est apparemment la même chose avec beaucoup de combustibles de récup. comme les palettes, etc. Pour info, j’observe que beaucoup de bois "à brûler" traîne en ville (résidus d’entretien d’espaces verts, bois mort, ... ouvrez l’oeil !)

je crois que les palettes sont toutes traitées. Par contre les cajettes je ne sais pas mais elles sont faites en pins et a part pour allumer ma cheminée je ne les utilise pas.

j’ai essayé autrefois avec du papier journal et d’autres (il fallait mettre au moins 1/3 de journaux pour avoir une bonne cohésion, à mon avis).
Ca marchait for bien et les bûches duraient au moins une heure. Les cendres sont faibles et surtout pas d’imbrûlés.
Le moule utilisé était un moule du commerce à mâchoire.

Bonjour
Pour que les papiers journeaux brûlent très bien, j’ai autrefois eu moi aussi feu ouvert, je roulais du papier mouillé dans lequel je glissais des planchettes très fines de cageots de fruits, les deux mis ensembles donnent un bon résultat, en tout cas le petits bois est de toutes façons le meilleur moyen pour faire démarrer un feu sans utiliser un "démareur de feu" chimique.
Les bûches de papiers mises a brûler avec celles en bois sont une bonne solution pour évacuer le papier et pour se chauffer a prix réduit vu l’augmentation des carburants...mais attention tout papier n’est pas bon a brûler...attention a la polution ( qui sera moindre que les carburants de toutes façons.... ) quand aux déchets ménager du genre épluchures etc...elles sont a faire sècher au moins 2 jours sur un journal si vous désirez les brûler....exepté les pelures d’agrumes que vous pourrez brûler de suite !

Les cendres sont exellentes a répendre dans le jardin, aux pieds des arbres ....et si vous avez des limaces elles détestent ça.....

Je demeure au Canada et il se vendait auparavent des bacs en métal surmonter d’un genre de petit tordeur essoreur. On glissait le papier journal dans le bac rempi d’eau et on le roulait dans le tordeur essoreur, avec une manivelle actionnée manuellement. Le temps de séchage était moins long

Bon ben voilà.
Je vous remercie pour les infos.
En effet, je voulais faire moi-même mes propres bûches en papier journal (vu que j’en ai à volonté par piles entières,et que je trouvais que c’était faire une insulte à ma cheminée de ne pas m’en servir...). J’ai donc effectivement cherché sur le site de outiror quand un camion passait près de chez moi, et j’y suis allé hier. 13.99 € donc. Depuis, je fabrique, je fabrique...

Qu’en est il des résultats attendus (positif / négatif). Les bûches en papier ne laissent elle pas plus de cendres / déchets que le bois ? Le dépôt de suie dans la cheminée n’est il pas plus important ?? Qui sais me répondre - Merci à l’avance

Je n’ai rien trouvé d’intéressant pour rouler des bûches en papier journal, alors je me suis fabriqué un prototype qui me permet de rouler serré des journaux secs de façon à pouvoir les bruler le même jour en les mêlant avec du bois 50-50. Ca marche pas pire, c’est rapide et pas dispendieux et c,est perfectible.Photos disponibles. Qui pondra une meilleure mousetrap ??? Norm C 2006-02-02 Mtl Qc

Je me pose juste une question... pourquoi mouiller du papier pour le faire secher ensuite ? Autant bruler les journeaux direct non ? Quel est l’interêt de les mouiller ? Ils prennent toujours autant de place en cube ou à plat.

je vais peut etre dire une betise mais tant pis. A quoi ça sert de s’emm... à faire des buches qui une fois seches prendront autant de place qu’une pile de journeaux à plat ? Pourquoi ne pas bruler directement des fagots de journeaux posé à plat sur les braises ? Le resultat est le même.

Bonjour,
j’ai une presse à briquettes que j’utilise de temps en temps (quand j’ai un peu de temps).

Il faut mouiller le papier avant de le presser pour assurer une bonne cohésion à l’ensemble. Si vous mettez du journal directement dans le feu, ça brûle très vite en chauffant très fort, le fait de les mettre en briques ralentit la combustion et lui permet de durer plus longtemps.

Par rapport à une bûche de bois de même poids, je dirais que ça dure aussi longtemps, mais même compressée, une brique de papier est plus légère qu’une bûche de bois de même volume. Je sais pas si c’est très clair...

N’ayant eu la presse à briquettes que récemment, j’ai fait sécher quelques briquettes, d’bord dans mon garage, puis sous le poêle, quand la maison est bien chaude. Mon mari m’a conseillé de faire tremper les journaux 24h, puis le séchage prend quelques jours, de l’ordre d’une semaine.

Je trouve que ça encrasse un peu plus que les bûches de bois nobles (chêne, hêtre), mais pas plus que le bois à escalier que je brûle en ce moment (bois exotiques). Cela produit effectivement plus de cendres que le bois.

Voilà, j’espère avoir répondu à quelques questions...
Ah oui, j’ai vu la presse à briquettes dans des camions-magasins du genre outiror, ils ne les ont peut-être pas tout le temps en vente. Moi, j’ai hérité la mienne de ma maman...

mais ou trouve t-on du papier en grande quantité ?
ca m’interesse beaucoup mais je me dis qu’avec tout le travail que ca représente, au bout du compte, on n’a plus besoin de se chauffer !!!

bonjour à tous,
depuis un petit moment, j’utilise avec une presse a papier du journal que je fais tremper le temps que ça ramollise puis je laisse secher . stockage comme le bois piece exterieure ventilee.
la combution semble rapide, mais effectivement en mettant un bois dur avec pendant la combution, l’on maintient le foyer à une bonne température sans pour autant que celà s’emballe en fond de foyer.
Je pense que l’on peut utiliser ces buches lorsque nous sommes a portée du foyer pour eviter une trop grosse chaleur et pour raviver la flamme en douceur. Celà nécéssite une présence constante . Mais celà ne remplacera pas le bois dur ( accacias, chene entre autre). ne pas oublier de changer d’essence de bois surtout si l’on brule du sapin.

bonjour à tous, je recherchai desesperement 1 discution comme celle ci sur le net depuis qq tps et enfin g trouvé.

je fais des buches en papier journal avec 1 presse acheter chez sedao en esperant avoir de bon résultat cet hiver et je voudrais savoir si quelqu’un à la combine pour incorporer des copeaux dans le papier ou mieux encore arriver à faire des buches en copeaux car je peux avoir à volonté des copeaux de chênes chez un menuisier car il me semble de ne pas etre tres évident de brûler du copeau en vrac.
j’ai appris qu’en incorporant un liant amidonné cela pouvai etre faisable, est ce que quelqu’un à deja essayé et ou trouver de l’amidon ?
j’attend vos informations
et profité de l’été car l’hiver arrive à grand pas

On trouve de l’amidon notamment dans les céréales et dans les pommes de terre.
Il en est extrait par lavage/ décantation/ séchage pour donner respectivement l’amidon et la fécule. Lorsqu’il est produit à base de maïs ç’est vendu sous le terme maïzena.
On peut faire de la colle de pâte directement à partir de farine brute en mélangeant à de l’eau et en cuisant légèrement, ce qu’on faisit autrefois pour coller les papiers-peints. Elle a l’inconvénient de moisir assez rapidement et demande donc l’ajout d’un conservateur.
Je ne sais pas quel serait le résultat de la combustion de la farine ou de l’amidon ou de la fécule.

Dans le cas des céréales, c’est la farine qui est lavée (séparation du gluten et de l’amidon), dans le cas de la pomme de terre, c’est la pulpe râpée.

bonjour a tous,depuis une bonne vingtaine d’annees nous fabriquons des buches de papier pour notre maison de
campagne qui est equipee d’un poele bois charbon
nous utilisons l’eau de pluie pour faire tremper les journaux
nous faisons secher les briquettes au soleil sur des palettes il ne faut pas utiliser des pubs sur papier glace il vaut mieux utiliser du journal tout simplement.
ca prend un peu de temps mais c’est effectivement un bon moyen pour faire quelques petites economies de chauffage

Bonjour à tous,pour ma part j’habite en Belgique et j’ ai trouvé la presse au camion Eurovanadium ,rue Victor Hugo 59174 La Sentinelle France ,téléphone 0033/327 212 101,fax 0033/327 212 104. Pour ce qui est de la publicité "prêt en 30 secondes" je peux vous assurer que ce n’est pas le cas. J’aimerais savoir la raison pour laquelle on ne peut pas utiliser de papier glacé (mes briquettes sèchent toujours). Pour mélanger les copeaux de bois au papier, il faut transformer le papier journal en papier maché déjà un peu pressé ou essoré au préalable (si vous ne le faites pas les copeaux flottent à la surface de l’eau).
Afin de faire des briquettes de copeaux "purs" je suis certain que la presse dois developper une force de plusieurs tonnes,combien je suis incapable de vous le dire...

Bonjour
J’utilise depuis de nombreuses années ces "fameuses" briquettes de papier journal (qui contenait, il fut un temps du plomb, à ’l’époque ou l’impremerie ne connaisait pas encore les machines "offset" mais où un typographe plaçair méticuleusement caractère après caractères sur une planche, les encres de l’époque jusque dans les années 50 voir 60 contenaient du plomb.)
Pour obtenir un rendement optimum de ces briquettes, il faut que le papier journal soit haché assez fin (un destructeur electrique de documents, ces petites poubelles qui mettent vos documents en "fines lannières" convient parfaitement) vous profiterez de l’hiver pour préparer votre "macération". Le papier journal "haché" le plus fin possible sera mélangé à l’eau, le but étant d’obtenir une sorte de pâte à papier assez épaisse (plus la macération sera longue, plus le papier partira en "purée". Lorsque vous aurez obtenu une pâte de bonne consistance (genre purée epaisse) il vous faudra y ajouter de la cendre de bois (qui a pour avantage de ralentir la combustion de votre briquette de papier) envisagez 2 kgs de cendres pour une dizaine de kg de "pâte à papier". dès l’arrivé de la belle saison vous pouvez attaquer la confection des briquettes (les presses vendues dans les camions "Outiror ou Eurovanadium" font trés bien l’affaire) Si vous voulez être perfectionnistes essayez de récuper "le jus" qui sort du pressage, afin de l’utiliser pour la macération suivante. Viens l’étape du séchage, bien sûr de préférence au soleil, avec suffisament d’espace entre vos briquettes (air et soleil, la meilleur recette, même en Alsace).Le stockage une fois vos briquettes bien séches peut se faire dans n’importe quel endroit bien sec (ou abrité et bien aéré). Pour ceux qui peuvent se procurer de la sciure, en plus des cendres, vous obtiendrez une briquette de 1ère qualité, à condition que le temps de macération ait été suffisamment long pour que tous vos ingrédients aient eu le temps de " bien s’imprégner d’eau, c’est le secret d’une bonne pâte à briquette.
Donc pour conclure, une bonne macération, une pâte au final trés épaisse et je vous garanti que vous serez surpris du rendement de ces fabuleuses "briquettes de vieux papier".

bonjour à tous, je viens de lire vos commentaires et je tiens à vous remercier pour les infos que j’ai pu extraire. Dès demain je vais aller acheter cet appareil chez EUROVANADIUM afin de préparer des briques et surtout de faire des économies pour le chauffage. Je pense qu’une bonne préparation nécessite de faire tremper du papier de basse qualité tel que le journal qui est du papier recyclé en morceau déchiré ou par le moyen d’une broyeuse à papier, de le faire suffisamant tremper afin que la fibre se démêle, de le mélanger à de la sciure de bois lorque le papier est devenu de la pate, mettre je pense 1/3 de sciure par rapport à la quantité de pate obtenu afin que celle-ci ne se démêle pas au séchage ou pendant la combustion, bien mélanger avec les mains c’est plus simple, et confectionner les briques ensuite. J’avais pensé de mettre aussi du blé dans le mélange mais il faudrai déjà l’acheter pour ceux qui ne peuvent s’en procurer gratuitement, mais le blé brûle moin vite que le mélange et tombrai dans le bac à cendre sans être brûlé entièrement. cordialement...................................................... Bonjour,

J’ai trouvé, sans difficultés, une presse à briquette sur le site Ebay. Il y en a en achat immédiat à 15 euros.

Pour le reste, google m’a permis de trouver plein de sites intéressants pour la fabrication de briquettes, de ce que l’on pouvait ajouter au papier pour le rendre plus performant (sciure, huiles de vidange en très petite quantité, déchets ménager, ...)

Ce que je trouve dommage, en lisant toutes les questions et réponses de ce site, c’est le nombre de fois que quelqu’un pose une questions déjà posée, ou donne une réponse identique à d’autres. Lisez toutes les questions et réponses avant tout. Cela donnera un forum beaucoup plus clair et avenant. Je pense que cette page doit bien contenir 350 Q/R, qui pourraient se limiter à 20 !

Faites vos petites recherches, n’attendez pas simplement que "Dieu le Père" vienne vous apporter tout à vos pieds.

A Nima’Sadi, je comprend que faire le modérateur, c’est un boulot d’enfer ... Mettez peut-être un petit message "Règles du jeu" en début de page.

De toutes façons, Merci pour votre site, il m’a permis, après (très) longue lecture, d’avoir de bons renseignements.

Bonjour à tous,

je viens d’ acheter ma machine à creer les briquettes.
Au premier abord, je dirais génial et robuste.
En fer bien épais ajouré pour permettre le passage de l’eau du papier imbibé, elle a de grandes poignees pour un meilleur pressage.

L’utilisation s’avère plus difficile :
Effectivement, le probleme que je rencontre c’est que le papier mis en couches dans la petite machine se sépare aussi en couches apres séchage, et ca ne forme plus la belle buche de papier tant attendue.

Il ne se tient pas aggloméré ensemble.

Je pense que c’est dû à la pression pour compresser le papier qui n’est pas si forte que ça avec ce type de "presse briquette".
La machine ne me semble pas aussi robuste que prévu : les "bras" en métal ont tendance a plier vers l’extérieur et la partie qui descent pour ecraser ne descent pas très bien, elle a tendance à relever d’un côté ou de l’autre (ceux qui on la même comprendront).

Pas de remède pour la pression mais pour que les feuilles de papier se tiennent mieux, découper le papier en fine bandelette (avec un broyeur/destructeur de papier de bureau) pour que les bandelettes s’entrelasse et se tiennent les unes aux autres pendant le séchage.

En conclusion, je pense que la machine à briquetter n’est pas idéale pour faire ses briquettes et qu’il vaudrait mieux inventer une presse comme celles qu’on nos grand parents pour "faire le jus de pomme", exercant une pression beaucoup plus forte (lègèrement plus encombrant que cette petite machine à briqueter).
Le top serait de faire secher la briquette dans la machine tout en restant compressée.

l’avantage d’utiliser une presse a papier par rapport au manche a balai, c’est que papier est deja bien essorer au moment de la pressé ce qui doit diminuer considerablement le temps de sechage.
quand au taux de cendre il est dix fois plus eleve pour du papier que pour du bois sec (1% pour du bois (source quid 2003) contre 10 a 14 % pour du papier ordinaire (source cerig en lien))

le pouvoir calorifique inferieur quand a lui est de 4400Kcal/m3 pour du resineux (la diference entre du resineux et du feuillus tiens du fait que le bois du feuillus est plus dense) pour le PCI du papier il semble qu’il soit proche du charbon (d’apres outiror, forcement c’est pas terrible comme reference mais j’ai pas trouve mieux) soit moins de 3600Kcal/m3

J’ai lu avec intérêt cette discussion sur les briques papier. Je vais bientôt me lancer.
Peut-on utiliser du carton à la place du papier ??? Parce que j’ai toujours plein de déchets de carton à la maison et pas trop de papier journal.
C’est facile de trouver des cartons qui traînent dans la rue, mais du papier journal, c’est plus dur.
Faut-il le broyer ou le déchirer ?

fabriquer des buches à partir de cartons serait plus interressant je pense également
la matiere est deja plus lée et pour faire demarrer un feu, ca me semble plus efficace
par contre, la machine doit etre plus robuste et la presse beaucoup plus puissante..........

Bonjour très interréssant ces buches mais voyé je suis ingenieur en petrochimie et je peu vous assurez que la combustion de ces buches entraine une pollution de l’air à cause de l’encre ; voila ce que je devais dire. Sauf biensure si l’encre est naturelle.

J’avais acheter une presse à buche chez Outiror. On en a pas fait beaucoup.
Le papier fait beaucoup de cendre et la fumée est sûrement plus polluant que le bois.
Le rendement calorifiques n’est pas génial.
Pour que la buche se tienne, on commençait par poser du papier journal dans le fond et qu’on repliait ensuite quand la buche était remplis de façon a avoir une sorte de buche "emballée".
Le plus simple et le plus écologique c’est d’avoir un poêle à bois à haut rendement et de limiter sa conso de papier .... voire de faire son propre papier recyclé !

Depuis mon commentaire précédent du 1er fév 2006, je n’ai pas vu rien de mieux qui a été proposé. Je continue donc à rouler mes bûches à raison de 15 buches à l’heure que je brule le soir même dans mon foyer ouvert à raison d’une buche en papier pour un morceau de bois de grosseur équivalente afin de bâtir de la braise. Ca fait un peu plus de cendre mais je la garde pour mon potager qui en aura bien besoin , le printemps venu.En attendant , je me chauffe en regardant mon thermomêtre à -24c

Voila plusieurs années que cela marche très bien ,je prend une
grande bassine remplie d’eau salée 1 kg de sel un peu de vinagre ou de vieux vin ceci si vous n’avez pas de détergent industriel ph=13 biodégradable. Je l’aisse trempé le papier imprimé plusieurs semaines chaque fois que je relève la boite aux pub je l’ajoute à la bassine ,je tourne avec un mélangeur de béton électro portable à ce moment on peut dire que le jus est vraiment noir et c’est absolument nécessaire d’avoir la presse à papier qui sort alors des buches bien blanches et débarassées de toute cette encre d’imprimerie.je les ranges sur des palettes de bois dehors sous le passio séparées par 3 cm de tous cotés et chaque étage d’empilement reçoit un feuillart de platique

choisissez bien votre presse à briquette.

Je suis prof de soudure et j’ai déjà réparé au 7 presses. Mes collègues ne sont pas trop forts, c’est la presse qui n’est pas solide.
Utilisez plutôt un tuyau en PVC de +/- 8 cm de diamètre et de 30 cm de long, mettez-y votre pâte, posez dessus une boite à conserve , pressez, l’eau s’echappe et laissez une grosse pierre sur la boite pendant 24 heures.
Démoulez et laissez sècher.

J’ai changé de tactique pour les bûchettes : trempage 3 jours en papier entier puis moulage dans du papier journal pour bien les tenir. Résultat impeccable : mais ces bûchettes , encrasse t’elle plus les cheminées que les vrais bûches ?

Je souhaitais précisé que j’utilise le papier du bureau. Chaque collègue à
une caisse, et chaque fin de semaine je collecte tout et je fais tremper du
vendredi au lundi. Le lundi, c’est opération briquette !! Cela servira à
chauffer mes collègues qui possèdent une cheminée. Mon patron me suit dans
cette démarche et il a pris la chose très au sérieux dès que j’ai lancé
l’idée.

Bonjour à toutes et à tous,

J’ai acheté la presse à briquettes sur SEDAO il y a environ 2 mois et j’ai fais une vingtaine de briquettes.
Je n’ai pas encore vu leur combustion (ma cheminee étant terminée depuis seulement 2 jours et les dernieres briquettes étant encore humides)

Le papier journal doit etre plongé feuille par feuille (dépliées) dans l’eau.
Si on a le temps on peut mélanger toute les 5 à 10 feuilles pour le désagréger un maximum.
Il faut laisser tremper au moins 5 jours (pour du papier journal).

Quand la pression etait forte les cotés de la presse s’écartaient en bas et le fond de la presse se bombait vers l’exterieur laissant passer de la pate sur les cotés. J’ai mis 2 bouts de planche de chaque coté de la presse avec 2 serre-joints et depuis je fais des briquettes 2 fois plus epaises et beaucoup plus denses. Je pose une planche épaisse sur les bras en metal et je m’assois dessus (96 kg). Plus rien ne bouge dans la presse. C’est impeccable.
Par contre quand je remplis la presse avec la pate de papier, je la presse déja entre les mains pour enlever le plus gros de l’eau ; sinon il faut presser la pate en plusieur fois : presser, rajouter de la pate, represser, rajouter de la pate, etc...

En faisant tout ça j’obtient des superbes buchettes bien dures une fois seches mais c’est clair que cela prend du temps

Quand je lis sur le catalogue SEDAO :
Temps de confection d’une briquette : 30 secondes
Temps de combustion : 1h30 environ,
ça me fait bien rire

poser une ficelle sur la longueur de la planche de façon que l’on puise la redoubler pour pouvoir rattacher les bouts
Plier le journal mouiller sur la longueur de la planche et qu’il ne dépasse pas la largueur de la dite planche
Faire une épaisseur d’environ 10 cm, presser avec les deux serre-joints, nouer la ficelle, défaire les serre joints et faite sèches, économique, rapide et tout sous la main, a la place de serre joint on peut utilise un étaux mai moins pratique

Bonjour,

J’ai récemment acheté une presse sur Provence Outillage (environ 22 €)
Contrairement à ce que j’ai pu lire avant, je n’ai pas remarqué de faiblesse mécanique dans le matériel, et ce même après la confection de plusieurs dizaines de briquettes (même en montant dessus !!). Je me suis servi surtout de cartons qui me semblent plus intéressants par rapport au papier.
Je n’ai pas fait encore d’essais de combustion (because le poêle n’est pas encore là). Au vu de la tête et du poids des briquettes après séchage, c’est clair que ça ne peut pas remplacer une bonne vielle bûche mais je pense que que cela peut être utilisé au démarrage, ou une de temps en temps entre deux bûches.
Même si cela ne représente que 5 % du combustible utilisé, c’est peut-être déjà ça de gagné, même si il faut passer un peu de temps avec la presse.

Voila j’explique mon cas. Nous sommes actuellement dans un projet pédagogique au lycée et avons pour bute de faire de la récupération de papier journal afin d’en faire des buches destinées à la combustion en cheminées et poële de particuliers. Ayant déja quelques idées en rapport avec ca, une question se pose auquel nous ne pouvons apporter pour l’instant aucune réponse.

Quelles pressions faut-il afin de compresser le papier journal pour une buche de 40cm de long,20cm de largeur et 20cm de hauteur ?????

Grâce a cette questions notre projet serait totalment débloqué et permettrait ainsi à récolter des fonds pour un voyage au pays de galles prévu prochainement.

Bon, exit le papier !!!! Quelqu’un connaitrait-il un procédé qui permettrait de fabriquer des bûches de feuilles mortes ???
En effet, j’en ai des mètres cubes entiers que je m’e.....e à brûler dans un fût à l’extérieur et je me suis posé la question : pourquoi ne pas récupérer ces calories 100% écologiques !!!
Il faudrait une puissante presse pour en faire des bûches de combustion lente.
Bref, si vous avez des infos à ce sujet, merci de faire partager votre expérience/connaissance.

pour repondre a ta question, je pense avoir une solution.
Il faut avec une simple presse a brique normale que l’on trouve dans un camion, faire un espece de sarcophage de papier journal dans la presse sur les 4 cotes et de le remplir avec des feuilles mortes bien mouiller refermer le "paquet" et presser le tout. Petite astuce suplementaire incorporer quelques morceaux de cagette dans le paquet.

moi je réussi a avoir des bûches de papier journal dur comme le bois. je fais dabord de la pête avec mon recyclage de papier en le faisant tremper et en le broyant avec un mélangeur à ciment mu par ma perceuse. ensuite je met cette pâte dans un tuyau 2 pouce de plomberie et je compresse le tou avec un cric de 8 tonne de pression jusqu’a obtenir une bûche de 12 pouces. ça brule comme du bois ! je trim sur le principe et arrivera bientôt à un processus simple. je crois que pour 200$ j’aurais ma petite usine à bûche. en fait il faut de la force pour compresser et mettre le papier en pâte, c’est le pricipe de base. avec du papier en feuille il y avais trop de coésion et la bûche se défaisait et sans la pression d’un cric je n’avais pas une densité intéressante. si vous avez des question...ça me fera plaisir !

Super les bûches en papier ! Quelle économie ! J’ai trouvé une source gratuite de papier à 150 km de chez moi. En faisant 5 allers-retours en scooter j’arrive à récupérer 25 kilos de papier.
Je le découpe à la broyeuse de jardin la nuit sur mon balcon par plage de 5 minutes. Comme ça les voisins réveillés par le bruit n’ont pas le temps de trouver d’où vient la nuisance. Après je passe le papier déchiqueté à la machine à laver pour ne pas créer de pollution avec la combustion de l’encre. Puis je fabrique les briquettes avec une machine de mon invention que je dois brancher sur un groupe électrogène car je n’ai pas assez de puissance électrique au compteur. Il ne me reste pus qu’à les faire sécher au sèche-linge. Voila c’est prêt. C’est écolo et se sera super agréable le jour où j’aurai une cheminée...

Ca y est, le poële est installé, et premiers essais de combustion de briquettes, réalisées à partir de carton mouillés et d’une presse (au centre des briquettes, je place des brindilles de bois).

Bonne surprise, cela marche plutôt bien ; la combustion s’effectue correctement, à la manière d’une bûche en bois (cela dure un peu moins longtemps et produit un plus de cendres)
Il faut en mettre une de temps en temps, environ toutes les 5 bûches, de manière à ce que les cendres incandescentes de la briquette disparaissent.

bonjour a tous. moi je fabrique des briques depuis 1an et je les utilises depuis le début de l ’hivers. j’ai acheté ma presse sur ebay apres de multiples essaies je suis arrivé a un résultat très satisfaisant en laissant tremper 3 jours mini l’équivalent d’une poubelle de journaux ou de carton ( le mélange des 2 est idéal ) auquel j’ajoute à peu près 10 litres de copeaux que j’achète dans un point vert ( les 56 litres pour 2 euros ) . avec ses 56 litres je fait a peu près 100 briques je melange le tous plusieurs fois par jours jusqu’à obtenir une patte . le résultat et génial et la combustion est égal à celle d’un bon morceau de bois

moi j’ai trouvé une presse à bûche en papier chez Emmaüs pour 5 euros (et avec une douzaine de bocaux en plus). Mais il faut passer souvent chez Emmaüs pour faire des affaires comme ça. Je vais commencer demain la fabrication à partir des toutes les informations très intéressantes de ce site. merci pour vos avis et conseils en tous cas, je vous tiendrai informé des premiers résultats et des premières combustions.

Ca y est, j’ai décidé de me lancer dans la fabrication de buches en papier.
J’ai testé les rondes dans un tube PVC et les rectangulaires... dans un moule de ma conception.
Je garde les rectangulaires (environ 40cm x 8cm x épaisseur de 4 à 7cm)

Après plusieurs essais pour la préparation de la "pate", j’en suis resté à ma dernière recette : passage de (tout) les prospectus et journaux au broyeur à papier pour le couper en fines lamelles, trempage dans l’eau une journée, dépose de la matière humide obtenu dans le moule et 4 tonnes de poussée (petite presse d’atelier) pendant 10mn et en deux fois.
J’en ai déjà cramé quelques unes, le résultat est satisfaisant à condition de mettre quand même une buche bois avec.
J’ai en préparation d’autres préparations de pates humides, avec adjonction de copeaux de scirie et la fabrication d’un nouveau moule.

Ca y est, au bout du troisième moule à buche, je crois que j’ai trouvé le bon (rectangulaire, 42 x 8 pour des buches d’une épaisseur d’environ 6cm). De toute façon, c’est celui que je garde. J’en suis déjà à une quarantaine de buches.
Pour la pression avec la petite presse d’atelier, je suis passé de 3,8 à 7 tonnes pour le pressage.
Je pense que c’est trop... la buche se consumme vraiment très lentement.
Comme il fait bon maintenant, je n’allume plus l’insert, donc les essais sont suspendus pour l’instant.
Je vais quand même continuer à fabriquer quand même mes buches, en version 3.8 et en version 7.0.
Pour la fabrication d’une buche avec mon principe, le temps nécessaire est d’environ 5 à 10 mn entre le remplissage du moule et le démoulage.
En fait, j’ai surtout travaillé sur le démoulage pour éviter de déformer ou détruire la buche humide.
Résultat : impeccable ;o)

bonjour
j’ai travaillé mon procédé et je suis rendu à compresser ma purée de papier avec un ’’jackall’’ un cric mécanique au lieu d’un cric hydraulique qui étais beaucoup trop puissant et brisait mes moules en fonte !! alors mes découvert son de presser dans un moule fendu en deux sur la longueur, pour simplifier le démoulage. le moule (tuyau d’acier) fendu est retenu par des collets type exhause de voiture. aussi je compresse dans un long moule pour ne faire qu’un remplissage de purée. donc avec un moule de 4 pieds je fais une bûche de 12 pouces. petit détail ; lors du remplissage de votre moule n’essaurrez pas trop la pâte car par rop essauré la bûche sera plus friable et risque de se briser. moi je verse ma pâte dans une taie et laisse, l’eau en trop, sortir seul et rempli mon moule.

Pour la pâte à papier, sans se fatiguer et pour de grandes quantités, j’utilise une bétonnière... Une brouette de cartons et papiers en vrac, 2 seaux d’eau et quelques demis briques pour mieux malaxer.
Après 5 min, les plastiques autocollants des cartons se récupèrent facilement, et je benne le contenu dans la brouette. Y a plus qu’à faire les briques...

"Utilisez plutôt un tuyau en PVC de +/- 8 cm de diamètre et de 30 cm de long, mettez-y votre pâte, posez dessus une boite à conserve , pressez, l’eau s’echappe et laissez une grosse pierre sur la boite pendant 24 heures. Démoulez et laissez sècher"

Que pensez vous de sa proposition qui me semble somme toute simple ?

voici mon idée à propos de la technique du prof de soudure. son idée est celle de base ; compresser dans un tuyau... parcontre il y aura un problème car avec ce peut de compression la buche sera encore gorgé d’eau et beaucoup plus longue à sècher et difficil a extrère en un morceau. aussi il faudra tester la résistence du pvc et jouer avec ses limite, en plus d’y faire des trous pour que l’eau s’échape si non il y aura beaucoup d’effort perdu en pressant de l’eau.

moi j’ai imaginé plusieur idées de compresssion et suis revenu a cette simple idée. parcontre avec un piston hydraulique qui foulle dans un tuyau d’acier( très couteux !!) coupé en deux et retenu par des clips de muffler. avant de compresser et fouller le tuyau j’essor la purée, ce qui ne cré plus d’explosion de pression de purée et d’eau un peu partout. l’éternel problème est de tout aligner parfaitement. car avec la pression la moindre déviation brise la presse... très embêtant ! le truc ressemble a un cadre avec un piston hydraulique double action et le moule dessous. on repli le moule et on actionne le piston. et on recommence j’usquà avoir la longueur désiré. en théorie. car en pratique la phisique nous rapelle sa présence. bonne chance a tous.

bonjour Olivier est ce que ton moule rectangulaire est en pvc ? si oui est ce que tu le blinde avec quelque chose...? aussi est ce que tu compresse ta buche sur la hauteur ou sur la largueur...est ce que ton moule est couché ou debout ? personnellement je place mon moule debout mais je travail a essayer couché car la presse a besoin de moin de course. car comme tu sais surement l’équilibre du tout est remis en question avec des tonnes de poussers.
par soucis d’économi j’essaye de fabriquer ma presse avec un cric bouteil direct dans le tuyau. toi quel est ton principe de haut en bas ? mon c’est de bas en haut... j’au du adapter ma presse.

je viens de tester un tuyau en pvc... et ça fonction. il résiste a une pression sufisant pour créé une bûche potable. le pvc est beaucoup moin cher que l’acier mais avec l’acier tu n’a pas a te préoccuper de l’excès de pression. l’avantage du pvc c’est aussi que il est impossible de briser la presse étant donné que toute ton attention est concentré sur le pvc beaucoup plus faible qu’elle...! je garde ce truc bon et pas cher

la brique de papier, çà se brule mais çà peut isoler aussi. Il y a une trentaine d’années, il se vendait pour 3 fois rien un mélange à base de pâte à papier et de colle et de talc qui servait d’enduit sur les murs. Ça s’appliquait hyper facilement, sur n’importe quel support (brique, ciment, plâtre, papier peint, carrelage, etc...) depuis le brevet a été racheté par un fabricant d’enduit-déco-superbranché-très cher, et le produit ne se vend plus. C’était joli et en plus isolant. Les murs de la maison de ma mère en sont couverts depuis 30 ans et sont nickel, doux, chauds, confortables. Parmi les lecteurs de ce forum qui font leurs briques, est ce qu’à votre avis, la pâte que vous obtenez, permettrait de confectionner non des briques mais un simple enduit épais ? Merci à tous.

bonjour, après de nombreux essais, voici ma recette !!!!!
je fais tremper 3 jours les journaux et ensuite je les mixe avec un mixeur de professionnel, c’est à dire une hélice d’environ 15 cm de diamètre. Je rajoute 30% de sciure de bois et j’obtiens une pâte très homogène. Je n’utilise plus la presse mais je remplis des bacs à fleur percés au fond. Je laisse en moule 24 heures et je laisse sécher au grand air sur des palettes environ une semaine. Le résultat est au delà de mes espérances , car la combustion est excellente et j’alimente un poêle de masse qui restitue la chaleur pendant 6 heures après extinction ; juste du petit bois pour démarrer le feu et ensuite c’est gratos !!!!!
Le secret a été le mixeur pro d’un peintre ! puissant et rapide

moi aussi j’utilise un mixeur... de platre le mien. que je fixe à ma super drill. mon papier est déchiqueté en bandelettes et trempe dans une poubel en métal haute et mince . je fait pénétrer le mixeur et le ressort, c’est tout. faut dire que le papier trempe depuis 12 ou 24 heurs. je rempli mon moule en acier et presse 8 tonnes et j’ai une bûche un peu fendillé, ce qui aide à bruler. trop compact ça ne brule pas !

pour être confortable et ne pas se soucier de la robustesse de l’angin il faut ; une presse puissante, une poubel, un déchiqueteur, un mixeur à plâtre ; le tout pour 400$. j’avoue que c’est une certaine somme mais j’aime bien me chauffer avec le papier que je jettais gratis avant.

je travail sur l’idée pour réduire le cout. cette été je vous redonne des news. et aussi des recette de pâtes...genre feuilles mortes , bran de scie, le papier comme ciment de tout ça

à date je suis capale de faire une bûche de 12 pouces x 4 pouces en 20 minutes dure comme du bois qui sèche en quelque jour... ce n’est pas important car elles servirons que cette hiver.

Bonjour à tous,

Je fais des briquettes (avec type de presse vendue dans camion outil) depuis quelques mois. Ce que je peux en dire, c’est qu’il faut une bonne organisation, et du temps. J’ai la chance de disposer de beaucoup de place pour les faire sécher, et il faut compter environ une semaine avec du temps assez chaud. Evitez effectivement de les faire sécher à l’intérieur : d’abord l’odeur de l’eau croupie n’est pas des plus agréable, ensuite ça pompe la chaleur ! J’en suis à une petite centaine de briquettes, l’avantage c’est que les enfants, en attendant l’hiver, peuvent s’en servir pour se faire la maison des trois petits cochons ;-)

J’expérimente pour le moment la fabrication, pour l’efficacité en cheminée on verra cet hiver ; j’en ai fabriqué une petite dizaine avec + ou - de succès. Voici la méthode qui me semble la meilleure à ce jour :
– 3 journaux découpés en morceaux d’env 2 cm² (long à faire mais indispensable). NE pas hésiter à superposer les pages et les découper esemble avec un gros ciseaux.
– laisser tremper minimum 3 jours en remuant un peu tous les jours.
– Remplir la presse au maximum
– Presser, mais oubliez les poignées, trop fragile et ne permettant pas une pression optimale. Moi je mets un parpaing sur la presse et je monte dessus (je pese 80 kg)
– Point de vue sechage, soit je les mets à sécher dehors sur le fil à linge à l’intérieur d’un vieux T-shirt noir (le noir retient plus la chaleur) 3-4 jours de beau temps sont necessaires ou bien, après que mon four ait fonctionné j’ai remarqué qu’il restait chaud encore longtemps, j’utilise donc cette chaleur résiduelle et gratuite pour faire sécher mes briquettes que j’enveloppe au prealable ds du papier d’alu (que je réutilise à chaque fois).

J’ai essayé d’ajouter un peu de sciure mais je trouve que cela fragilise la briquette, j’essaierai d’améliorer... quelqu’un a-t’il du recul là dessus ?

Bonjour,
Voilà, moi je ne suis pas spécialement organisée et je n’ai pas trop de temps à consacrer à mes bûchettes. J’ai trouvé ma solution idéale et très amusante : je passe tous mes documents ( n’importe lesquels ) au destructeur de papier ( pas cher chez Lidl ). Je mouille les bandelettes dans un seau, bassine, ou évier. Je les essore aussitôt. Et voilà mon truc : je récupère les cartons des rouleaux de papier toilette et je les bourre de bandelettes mouillées, puis séchage dans le garage. L’ensemble des opérations est très vite fait, je sais enfin quoi faire de tous les cartons de papier WC, et j’ai du gratuit à brûler. Quand on sait ce qui nous attend du côté des factures à la rentrée, autant se préparer tout de suite. On vous dira que ça fait plus de cendres, plus de ceci ou de cela, de toutes façons même avec le bois il y a des cendres à évacuer. Et par principe, je n’aime pas acheter du bois, je ramasse le moindre petit morceau que je trouve dans la nature. J’espère que d’autres testeront ce type de bûchettes et donneront leur avis.

Bonjour à tous

Tout comme Régio, j’expérimente également la fabrication de buchette en papier. J’en ai fabriqué une petite quarantaine.
Voici ma méthode :
Je remplis une poubelle d’eau d’environ 30 litres.
Je verse de la sciure (en poudre) d’une quantité d’environ 10 litres ( à vue d’oeil).
Je plonge une par une les feuilles d’une douzaine de journaux, type "Progrès". Je malaxe avec les bras toutes les 5 feuilles environ. Le papier se déchire, et se mélange avec la sciure, formant une première pâte.
Je laisser tremper minimum 3 jours en remuant un peu tous les jours.
Je remplis la presse.
Je presse, et, comme Régio, j’oublie les poignées, trop fragiles et ne permettant pas une pression optimale. Moi je pose un bout de piquet carré en bois sur la presse d’environ 50 cm, et j’appuie dessus.
Point de vue sechage, je les mets à sécher dehors au soleil sur une palette. Une petite semaine est necessaire pour un séchage complet par très beau temps.
Le rendu est parfait. Les briquettes sont de couleur marron, et d’excellente consistance.
Par contre, comme j’en suis à mes débuts, je ne connais pas la quantité de buchettes à fabriquer, car je ne me rends pas compte de la consommation de ces buchettes par un foyer fermé. En temps normal, je charge le foyer fermé par 2 ou 3 bûches de bois de 50 cm.
Quelle sera la quantité de buchettes en papier que je consommerai !!??? Quelle quantité pour combien de buchettes !!???
Si quelqu’un peut m’éclairer ! Je lui en serais très reconnaissant !

Je me suis mis aussi à la fabrication de buchettes depuis quelques années. Je fais tremper tout le papier (y compris le papier glacé sauf les couvertures des magazines qui sont trop épaisses), les cartons des emballages, les papiers de bureaux, etc... Tout en vrac dans un bac de 500 litres récupéré à la déchèterie. Plus le papier trempe, plus l’eau (de pluie) est noire et plus l’encre s’en va. Ensuite, il n’y a plus qu’a presser (presse standard au camion à 19€). Je presse la pâte sur deux madriers au dessus de la cuve, et je ne perd pas d’eau. Il m’arrive de glisser des bouchons de liège à l’intérieur, quand j’y pense. Puis, je les fais sécher dehors plusieures semaines/mois dehors à l’abri sur des boites à œufs afin qu’elles soient bien aérées dessus et dessous, puis j’empile.
En général, je les fabrique au début de l’hiver (l’été, j’ai moins le temps avec le jardin etc...) jusqu’à l’été, et je brûle donc les buchettes qui ont plusieurs mois. Il m’arrive d’en faire jusqu’à 200 dans une journée. Comme j’ai de la place pour stocker, je ne me chauffe pratiquement qu’à ça (75%) mais j’en utilise au moins 10/jours plus 2 buches en bois varié. J’ai un poele haut rendement >70%.
En gros, ça prend du temps, mais comme tout. Je fais les briquette avec ma femme, ça nous permet d’être un peu ensemble et de discuter. C’est économique (je ne brûle que 1.5 à 2 stères de bois/an soit environ 70€ pour une maison de 150 m2.) Le temps de séchage est long, mais il n’y a rien à faire ;) Si je devais faire un bilan. C’est beaucoup de boulot, je dirais que c’est le point négatif, mais quand on est bien organisé, et en famille, ça va.
Pour le papier glacé, le glaçage est obtenu avec du Slurry qui n’est autre que de la craie broyée au micron, et donc non polluant. La dilution du Slurry se fait avec de l’acide acétique cependant.
Quand il n’y a presque plus d’eau, je la laisse s’évaporer naturellement au soleil en été et je gratte le fond de la cuve et je jette la "pâte" à la poubelle.

pas de problème pour l’encrassage, je viens de faire ramoner et pas plus de suie que d’habitude.
J’ai donc fonctionné l’hiver dernier avec des buchettes et du vrai bois de temps en temps.
J’ai en stock 4 stères pour cet hiver et compte bien chauffer à la briquette seulement. En tout cas la chauffe est équivalente à celle du bois seul inconvénient un peu plus de cendres.
Je suis en train de confectionner une presse hydraulique de façon à acélérer le temps de séchage. A suivre

Moi aussi, je me suis mis à cette confection de bûches. J’en fais quelques une quand j’ai un peu de temps. Maintenant, reste plus que le séchage. Un peu long car je ne m’y prend que maintenant (j’habite en Normandie donc le soleil....). Mais bon, je verrais bien le résultat et si c’est ok, l’été prochain, j’en ferai un bon stocks. bjr à tous,
éducateur de formation, je fabrique des bûches en papier avec les bénéficiaires depuis un an, que nous allons remettre au c.p.a.s. pour permettre aux personnes en difficultés de se chauffer durant l’hiver. j’ai acheté sur le net une machine...pas très solide j’en conviens. Comme nous avons un atelier soudure, si quelqu’un a un plan... je serai très heureux. Il reste dans nos entrepôts un vieil étau qui pourrait éventuellement servir. J’attends de vos nouvelles.
Le temps de séchage est très long mais le résultat est agréable.
Pour les briques, un collègue qui a essaillé conseille d’en mettre au moins deux avec une bûche en bois. Les briques mesurent 25/10/6 cm. Bien à vous

J’ai fait cet été des buches en papier, qu’avec des journaux, surtout pas de prospectus, elles ont séchées au soleil, mais le rendement au niveau chaleur est nul, cela fait plus de 20 ans que j’ai un insert et rien ne vaut la chaleur du bois. ça se consume mais ne chauffe pas, très déçue, je vais revenir au bois, de plus il faudrait moderniser cette machine qui est très archaïque à manipuler, bon courage à ceux qui veulent essayer.

beaucoup de travail pour faire cette pate a papier, de plus il faut pouvoir avoir la quantité de journaux necessaire. comme evoqué dans un post, a voir avec des feulles mortes ou autre dechet agricole(foin par exemple).il semble que la maceration ou l’utiilisation d’un liant ne soit pas necessaire si on presse a au moins 1t/cm2.le pb concerne le stockage,pour que la briquette ne prenne pas l’humidité,il doit se faire a l’abri

bonjour à tous
j’innove !!!!! je viens d’inverser ma proportion de sciure et de papier c’est à dire 40% de sciure et le reste en papier maché,
Il est important d’obtenir de la pâte à papier avec un mélangeur si on veut que la bûche se tienne après séchage.
Le résultat est très satisfaisant , d’une part j’ai diminué la quantité de cendres après combustion et rendement comparable à celui du bois.
Autre fabrication à l’essai ,je vais mélanger de la sciure de l’eau et de la colle cellulosique pour papier peint !!!!
Je vous donnerai le résultat plus tard.
